Junior School Days- Lovely Days

Running with the open lace,
No worry of getting lost in any maze.

Running as fast as one can,
On losing the balance crashing in sand.
If parents are watching then start crying,
But if friends are watching then we are fine.

Doing the homework on the last day,
That to in the bus on the way.

No matter what teachers say,
Playing hard in the recess was must for a day.

Getting punished and standing on seat,
Still pretending that it is like a treat.

Chatting and doing crazy stuff in classroom,
Gathering friends for going to restroom.

Pulling the dress of friend sitting next,
Then pretending like reading book's text.

Complaining teacher that friend is creating mess,
Then sharing lunch with same friend in the recess.

On the last bell, running hard without leaving any trail,
Running like just got freedom from the jail.

Going back with dirty dress,
Then justifying that it wasn't me who created mess.

While going back looking out from windshield,
Then walking like we are coming from battlefield.

Treating the bag as a load,
Dragging the water bottle all the way on the road.

Thinking and life was so positive with no corners as darks,
That after attempting half exams we used to expect full marks.

No tension of latest trends,
Day start with friends and end with friends.

No worry of maintaining relationship,
The only thing was the friendship.

Today I don't know how to say,
But I miss those days very much even today.
